Are There Paleo Frozen Dinners at Kroger?

One common question we’ve seen in the community is whether there are Paleo frozen dinners available at local grocery store chains. In this case we are attempting to look at the options available for Paleo meals at Kroger.

There are no Paleo frozen dinners at Kroger that would satisfy someone strictly following the Paleo diet, however, there are several quasi-paleo frozen dinners available at Kroger from companies such as Frontera, Simple Truth, and Evol.

In this article we go through the options we found at Kroger that may work for those who are not following a very strict version of the Paleo diet. We’ll also go through some other alternatives at Kroger that might work for you even if you are following a strict Paleo or Autoimmune Paleo diet.

Kroger and Paleo Foods

How many times have you wandered the aisles of Kroger looking for foods that fit your Paleo lifestyle?

If you’re new to the Paleo diet, or even if you’ve been following a Paleo diet for a while now, you might be curious to see whether there are any Paleo frozen meals available at Kroger. Wouldn’t it be easier if there was a more concrete answer to that question, instead of having to visit your nearest one to find out?

Well, we’ve decided to answer that question for you. Whilst conducting our research, we found that unfortunately Kroger doesn’t currently have a Paleo frozen dinner line, but they do have ‘quasi-Paleo’ (that is, most but not all of the ingredients are allowed on a Paleo diet) frozen dinners that are useful to have on hand.

We’ve also compiled a list of other strict Paleo products on offer at Kroger that you can find in the pantry sections in stores or online. These aren’t necessarily useful for late-night dinners or last-minute lunches, but they are certainly handy to have in the cupboard for any time!

Quasi – Paleo Frozen Dinners at Kroger

We’ve listed the best ‘quasi-Paleo’ frozen dinners available for you to buy at Kroger today, to make it easier to navigate the aisles when you’re eager for an affordable but healthy food option. To make things easier, we’ve highlighted non-Paleo ingredients in bold, so that you can choose the quasi-Paleo meals that suit your needs.

Paleo On the Go

Paleo on the Go

Paleo on the Go are a popular Paleo meal delivery service who serve the entire US (including Hawaii and Alaska!), with orders fulfilled in 3 days or less. Paleo on the Go specialise in chef-created Paleo and AIP meals that can be reheated and enjoyed easily.

They are a favorite of ours because their line fits perfectly for those who have more strict Paleo needs, whilst still being delicious to eat. This company has strong ties with local farms and produce suppliers, meaning that all of their ingredients are high-quality and nutrient-dense, giving you peace of mind to concentrate on other things. For example, their meat is completely antibiotic- and hormone-free, with cows being pastured and grass-fed. This is great for you the consumer, and great for the cattle and the environment.

Paleo on the Go allows you to purchase their meals individually or in the form of bundles. If you buy meals separately, you can expect to pay between $16.50 – $19.75 per meal, with soups and broths being priced lower. If you opt for one of the meal bundles, you’ll get 10 meals, 1 broth, 1 dessert and 1 soup for $225, which averages out at $17.30 per item.

My goal with this website is to help get the message out about grain free diets such as the Paleo and Primal diets, SCD diet and GAPS diet, so that more people might benefit from them. My other main goal is to help everyone transitioning to these diets, which can be challenging when first starting down this path. It definitely was for me.
